Good Morning beauties! I hope your all big eyed and bushy tailed today! There are a few beauty products I have my eye on, so I wanted to share those with you! & considering it's payday for me today, I may pick a couple of these up this week :)

Bourjois Cream Blush - I want all the shades available, I've seen some reviews all ready on these and they look so pretty! I've only just really got into blushes this year, especially cream ones.

Models Own Fruit Pastel Collection - LOVE LOVE LOVE. WANT WANT WANT. Beeeeeautiful pastel nail polishes? And scented? Who wouldn't want these! Plus they are perfect for summer.

Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette - Not much to say about this, I don't know why I haven't picked it up yet, I've wanted it since it came out! I walked past the Urban Decay makeup counter in Debenhams yesterday and saw these, it just re-ignited my lust for it!

The Body Shop Raspberry Body Butter - I love these body butters, I've just ran out of the current one I was using I do have a Soap & Glory one to keep me going but I think The Body Shop ones are the best, they smell sooooo good.

The Body Shop Strawberry Eau De Toilette - I love fruity scents in the summer, I had this last year and it was just gorgeous on holiday so I know the scent will remind me of then!

So those are my most wanted beauty products at the moment what are yours? Are you treating yourself to anything on payday?

H&M Eyeshadow Palette Swatches

Hi Beauties, happy Sunday! I hope your all having a lovely weekend! I had quite a few requests to post swatches of the two eyeshadow palettes I picked up from H&M last week so here they are! Top picture is the "Nude" and the second picture is the "smoky" palette.

I will do a full review on these once I have used them a bit more, as this swatching is the first time I've got to try them so far. As the Nude palette is more creamy and goldy toned shades, they weren't as pigmented, they are still pigmented well just not as well as the smoky palette. The smokey palette is more darker toned with a dark gold, and dark browns so they were easier to apply and show the colour,  whereas in the nudes palette there were 3 shades that could be used as highlights as they were so light, and one gold and brown.

Both palettes have gorgeous colours in and I will be using these as my everyday eyeshadow for the next few weeks then I will do a full review! All in all I would say they are worth the money, for £3.99 they are great! Have you used them before or are you looking to purchase them? What do you think?

This is another picture I found whilst looking through some photo albums from last year. This was taken on Oli & I's 2 year anniversary. We had a lovely long walk down the beach, it's hard to believe that was over a year ago! Are any of you gorgeous girlies going on any beach trips soon?

Hi beauties, I hope your all having a lovely weekend! I wanted to show you a picture of my new jean shorts, I love the aztec trend and I think the aztec and stud detailing looks really pretty together! Not that we have the weather to wear these in the UK at the moment, they are more for holiday! Oli (my boyfriend) and I are going shopping to Milton Keynes today, to get his sister a birthday present and to have a wonder round so Superdrug and Boots are probably on the cards! What are you all up to today?

Makeup Brush Shopping/Choosing Tips

I don't claim to be an expert, but these are a few things I look at / for when I'm makeup brush shopping.  I have a collection going on, but once in a while brushes need to be replaced as they lose their shape and really, I just like to try new ones and update my collection. Hopefully these tips will be helpful to someone!

Bristles - When I pick up a makeup brush, I like to lightly tug the ends to see if any of the hairs shred or how many of them shred. It's okay for a few to come out if it's a new brush but if it's easy to pull the hairs out, you know the brush isn't very well made.

Feel - I like to lightly sweep the brush against my skin (not your face that is so unhygienic!) usually on my wrist or arm to see how soft they feel. If they feel scratchy or itchy on your wrist/arm then they aren't going to feel nice against your face.

Connection - By "connection" I mean the metal part which connects to the bristles, and to the handle. I like to look at this carefully to see how structured and how well made the brush is. I like to apply a little pressure to the brush with my index finger to test the brushes strength and to make sure the brush is put/glued together properly. The last thing you want is to buy a brush and for it to fall apart!

Natural VS Synthetic

I think this is down to personal preference. I have a mixture of both types of brushes in my collection and they all work equally as well in different areas.

I find that synthetic brushes work better for liquid products such as foundation/concealer/lipgloss. Natural brushes contain a cuticle which helps to grab powder products better, which synthetic brushes don't have.

Quality doesn't always mean expensive designer brushes, take Real Techniques for example. Some of my favourite brushes I own are from there, but they aren't the most expensive out there. Shop around and if you can (if the brushes aren't in plastic) I would suggest feeling them and taking a close look.

I hope this wasn't boring for any of you, and I hope it's helped someone if your thinking of buying new makeup brushes soon!

I love the beach! I took this last year for Oli and I's 2 year anniversary, we went to stay in Bournemouth and had a long walk on the beach. How gorgeous is this?!

New H&M Nail Polish Swatches

So after posting pictures of the makeup bits I ordered from H&M last week, I was requested to swatch the products I got, so these are the nail polishes I picked up, they are all so pretty, I am going to be buying more H&M nail polishes as they have some great shades and the quality is amazing for what you pay, I think they are between £2.99-£3.99.

Photo #38 / Update

Hiii beauties! I have been MIA the past couple of days, unfortunately this is due to the router in my house dying. Literally, it will not turn on. Obviously for me a blogger, this is just hell, I can't write posts, I can't read any of your comments or reply to them, or read other blogs that I enjoy. We are still waiting on a new router to be delivered!

However, my boyfriend has gone out tonight with his friends, so I have hi-jacked his living room, and I'm stealing his internet to write posts for this weekend and schedule them so I don't have to worry so much, and you girlies will have regular posts.

I hope you all had a great week, i certainly have! I'm preparing to start my new job I'm so excited! Things are going really well for me at the moment, my luck is in! So I just wanted to give you guys a quick update and share a picture of one of my fave brushes ever, it's so pretty! It's the flatbuki brush by Toofaced and it's so soft!
